A Dark Dividing: Dark Overlapping Fate

A Dark Dividing: Dark Overlapping Fate

” two set of twin. Born eighty years apart. United by chilling secret”

A dark dividing is one example of what brilliant mind is capable of. The story began when a journalist Harry Fitzglen was given a task by his editor to write a story about a new artist in the city of Bloomsbury, Simone Anderson. However, the editor demanded something different compare to the other articles supplied by the media frenzy. Finally, it was decided that he will investigate her rather unusual childhood.

It was known that Simone twin sister was missing without a trace several years ago when they were only a baby. Back then, many journalist had had attempted to investigate the matter, but nothing came to light. So what is actually happening to them? And what connection it has with another twin, Viola and Sorrel Quinton who were born 80 years earlier?? Indeed, is there really any connection after all?

Sarah Rayne wrote this novel in a very interesting way. The story is told not simply from 2 different points of view; instead it was a twisting thoughts and acts of 5 different main characters and a fragment of a diary as the addition. In every chapter, the complicated plotlines jumping beautifully among each characters between the past and the present. Occasionally, it successfully hit us with yet another unpredictable surprise. Furthermore, the setting and the situation was so graphically described it seems like we can feels the chill and the fear that shadowing the story. Readers might start to wonder whether if it is a ghost story which is unfortunately not. Finally, this novel will be a great treat for the psychological thriller lovers while it might be a little bit confusing for those who do not. However this novel really recommended whether you are psychological thriller lovers or not, because it is totally brilliant package of thriller novel.
